Big Bass Splash and how its fish pay

Five reels and three rows carry a fishing and ocean theme. The regular symbols are a red off-road 4x4 truck, a fishing reel and rod, a dragonfly, a red tackle box, and the cards A, K, Q, J and 10. Wins pay along 10 fixed paylines, read from the leftmost reel. A win can start with just two matching symbols.

During free spins, Wild Fisherman symbols appear on every reel and collect the money values shown on fish symbols, from 2x to 5000x the total bet. Every fourth Wild collected adds 10 free spins and lifts the collection multiplier to x2, x3 and finally x10 at level 4. How often these features land cannot be known in advance.

Can you pay your way into the feature?

Buying the Free Spins costs 100 times the bet, which comes to A$100 when the bet is A$1, the top example bet on this page.

Bonus rules

What to know once the bonus begins

Read this before your first bonus, or when the reels show two SCATTER symbols.

When the fourth WILD is collected

On all reels, the Fisherman WILD appears and collects random MONEY values, 2x-5000x total bet, shown on fish symbols. Every 4th WILD collected retriggers +10 Free Spins and raises the multiplier: level 2 = x2, level 3 = x3, level 4 = x10. Level 4 is the maximum.

Line wins from the left

Across 5 reels x 3 rows and 10 fixed paylines, wins pay left-to-right from the leftmost reel. When exactly 2 SCATTER land, a random respin-down moves scatter reels one position down while others respin, or a hook pulls a reel up to reveal another SCATTER.

Know every step

Before the spin, after the reels stop

Most players fear losing track of money mid-round, so each step shows where the bet and wins go.

  1. Big Bass Splash bet range

Before the reels spin, you choose a bet from A$0.10 up to A$250. Higher bets raise every win in money, because payouts scale with the total bet.

  2. Big Bass Splash, ten paylines

Symbols land on five reels and three rows each spin. The ten fixed paylines pay from the leftmost reel to the right, and a win needs at least two matching symbols.

  3. Watch for a reel drop

When exactly two Scatter symbols land, the scatter reels may drop one position while the others respin. A hook can also pull a reel up to reveal another Scatter.

  4. Watch the Fisherman collect

When free spins begin, Fisherman WILD symbols appear on every reel and collect fish MONEY values. Those values run from 2x to 5,000x your total bet.

  5. Session limit and helpline

Each spin ends with the reels stopping, so set your session limit before the first one. Need support? Call the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858.

Your first session before any deposit

Can the maximum win be reached in one session?

Symbols land at random on every spin, so the bonus round can arrive on the next spin or after a long run of base game play. Nobody can tell in advance how often it comes. The result of one session is random too, whatever the RTP. The RTP describes the return over a very long run, not what your session will pay.

Each spin pays under the rules of one RTP version, and the version Ozwin Casino runs is shown only in the game rules. Two versions of the same game can return different amounts over time, so read those rules before a session starts.

Wins on the reels can climb to the ceiling set for this game, but a win that reaches it is very rare. The maximum win marks the far end of the range. Treat that top figure as an edge, never as an expected result.

Is the game still worth your time?

Players must be 18+. Call the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858 or register with BetStop, the national self-exclusion register.

Money set aside first

Every spin on the 5x3 grid draws from your balance, so set a budget before you start and stop when it runs out.

Big Bass Splash exit point

Wins on the reels can tempt you to keep going, so set your stopping point before the first spin and keep to it even after a win.

Limits set before, not after

A bad run on the reels can drain a balance quickly, so set deposit and loss limits in your account before you play.

Play only while fun lasts

Spins that stop feeling fun are your cue to pause, step away for a while, and self-exclude if the urge to chase losses returns.

Useful when you are choosing a bet size and wondering whether this game suits you.

Can I try Big Bass Splash with a small stake first?

Each spin on the reels costs the bet you choose, from A$0.10 up to A$250. The example bets on this page are A$0.20 and A$1, so start with the smallest bet you are comfortable with.

How do the Big Bass Splash versions differ in RTP and max win?

Every other version in the series has a lower RTP than this one, between 96.50% and 96.52%. Their maximum win is 5,000 times the bet, except Big Bass Splash 1000, which reaches 25,000 times.

What is the maximum win on Big Bass Splash?

On the reels, wins top out at 5,000 times the bet. At the example top bet of A$1 that comes to A$5,000, and at the highest bet of A$250 it reaches A$1,250,000. This is a ceiling, and no one can know in advance whether a session gets near it.

What is the RTP of Big Bass Splash and its versions?

This version has an RTP of 96.71%, so over a very large number of spins it returns about that share of the amount staked. Each version has its own RTP, and the figure is a long-run average, so one session can end well above or below it.

How volatile is Big Bass Splash, and how often do free spins land?

Big Bass Splash has high volatility, so wins come less often but can be larger when they land. How often the Free Spins trigger cannot be known in advance, and a single session may show none at all.
